After being told that Thermdor no longer supported my oven unit, i searched the Internet and found Appliance Parts Pros. I provided my model no. and serial no. and asked if they had a door spring that would work with my unit. After two days I recieved an answer of yes and I immediately ordered the door springs. To my surprise the two springs arrived the next day. I removed the door and the eight screws for access to the springs. It was really easy. In fact I was mad at myself for calling a repair technian that in the long run did not fix my oven. The repair took a little longer because I took the opportunity to replace both light bulbs.
