Took the whole thing apart--involved many steps and disassembling the whole machine. We downloaded the pdf file. Took out the ignitor, checked its continuity and found it was still good but we installed it anyway. Then researched further and discovered there's a reset button, found it, it had been tripped, reset it and put the whole thing back together. It worked!!
