Remove the lower plastic cover exposing the screws that hold the hinge and water line. remove the screw that holds the waterline to the base of the fridge, Use your fingers to disconnect the water line, Remove the nut from the end of the waterline. This will just pull off. Remove the waterline black corrugated cover. Block the door up with some scrap wood, books, or whatever you have available, Remove the two screws that hold the hinge in place and remove the old hinge paying attention to the positioning of the spacer behind the hinge. The waterline goes through the hinge so it was at this time I realized the water line had been severed when the freezer door came off the first time. If you are reading this before you replace a hinge, check the condition of the waterline, Replacing that will now be a project for next weekend. If it is broken, put a "do not use" sign on the water dispenser until you get it replaced.
