After looking at forum questions on AppliancePartsPros.com, it appeared that the key pad was probably at fault. It should be noted that the clock display was functioning. Removing the front panel was fairly easy. There is one machine screw at each end that are hidden so the stove needs to be pulled out a few inches. There is one screw at each gas control that will need to be removed. And four sheet metal hex head screws at the bottom of the control panel. I took a few photos of the circuit board to serve as a reference for re-connecting electrical leads. Also, there was no apparent damage or burned out circuits on the mother board. Some of the connectors had a small catch; others did not. Be patient removing leads; some are on pretty tight. ALSO, REMOVE ELECTRICAL POWER TO STOVE BEFORE DOING ANY WORK. Re-installed new control panel and my Jenn-air was as good as new. On-line chat was great. They were very thorough in their research of my questions.
