Watched the video to see what parts might be needed and it looked like a very easy repair by replacing the "dogs". I thought I would be able to handle it by myself, but I found I did not have the strength to loosen the bolt that had been there for maybe 9-10 years. So, my husband had to step in and take over the project. Was able to get the cap off and loosen the bolt. Trying to separate the upper agitator from the lower agitator was a real chore. It appears some of the plastic pieces had gotten hot and melted slightly. It took him a little while to break loose some of the plastic to separate the two. After that, putting in the new parts was quite easy and putting it back together was quite easy. We thought maybe we would have to purchase the lower agitator too, but it seems to be working fine.
