I first tried resetting the motor to no avail and checked the belt and looked for a bind or obstruction. I was getting the nine blinks on the LED. Since being without a washer is like having no water I pulled the trigger and ordered a new motor assy. I have to say I was shocked at how fast I got the part and how simple it was to replace. I ordered it over the weekend and they shipped it first thing monday morning for about 8 bucks and I had it by early tuesday afternoon!! All you have to do is unplug the washer, pop off the front panel with a putty knife and everything is easy to get at. Remove 4 nuts, unplug it remembering where the plugs go and rotate the motor sideways to remove it. You have to bybass the fuse assy with a jumper wire (included with instructions) Be sure the new motor is fully seated and tighten the nuts and plug the wires back in. There is a trick to putting the belt back on and there is a video on youtube on how to do this using a zip tie. Washer now works like new. 11 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes
