Initially, I thought the problem was the plastic bushings so I ordered 4 new ones. When I took the door off, I discovered that the outer pins were broken off the cast aluminum door hinge. I then ordered the replacement hinge. It arrived the next day with the middle-class shipping rate. The fix went very well. I used the new plastic bushings and a new hinge. So the problem was fixed for less than $175. The plastic bushings seem way overpriced given the amount of plastic that is used but it's still cheaper than a new washer. I kept the old bushings as a potential replacement if needed. The videos provided by appliancepartspros.com were very helpful. The entire replacement took 30-40 minutes.
Tip: make sure that you pay attention to where the different size screws go. I inadvertently mixed one and it took another 5-10 minutes to get it out of the larger hole and replace it with the proper size.
