I am a single mom and did this myself! I would only note that it would have been nice to be reminded that any water in the machine will come pouring out when you disconnect the hose. Initially, when I cleaned the filter I had drained the water already. But then I ran the washer again hoping I had fixed the problem. When water was sitting in the machine I had no idea, well I forgot, that it could come pouring out the hoses. I assumed it would stay in the machine drum, but no, about 2 gallons came pouring down. Good thing every towel in the house was sitting there waiting to be washed! :) The repair was pretty simple and my son enjoyed fixing it with me. All in all, the video is perfect but it would be great to remind people to drain the water first- that is my only suggestion for improvement. I also need better pliers. :)
