Matthew B Boscawen , NH August 06, 2022 The washer tub not draining. The most difficult part was determining whether the drain pump was bad. I cleared all debris from the hoses and the tub still not draining. With water in the tub, I pressed the spin-only cycle to attempt to drain. Then opened the filter on the front to watch for the impeller not to turn. This did dump water out but without an electrical meter, it was the only sure way to know. Ordered part which came very fast. Finding the right part of the website was very easy. Used a Phillips head screwdriver for most of the job. The videos here were perfect for this project. Straightforward and concise. The videos backed up everything I was doing and gave me the critical tip on reinstalling the rubber boot for the door/tub. Go for it. You can watch the video and solve your issue which SAVES you huge money instead of buying a new machine. 1 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes
