I did a search on AppliancePartsPros website with my model, it pointed to the washer drive block as the problem. Watched an online video of repair provided by AppliancePartPros and thought I could do it, if not would only be out $50 & my time vs buying a new washer. I ordered a washer drive block nut. The video instructions didn’t match my model but gave enough info for me to work through it. Had to order a spanner wrench when I figured out there’s no way to get a big enough wrench inside the washer tub, Spanner wrench came in 2 days, installed new nut & put everything back together in 30 minutes. Ran a load viola! It’s fixed! Weird that I couldn’t see the damage on the old washer nut, but I’m happy it’s fixed & couldn’t have done it without appliance pros! Recommend you order Spanner wrench along with a washer drive block, I couldn’t find one locally, it’s less than $20 & you can’t do the repair without it.
