I wasn't able to pull my washer away from the wall so I couldn't lift the top of the washer all the way up which made the repair more challenging. Ended up using some towels to prop the top up half way. Made the work much more uncomfortable, but still doable. I also wasn't able to unscrew the water hoses from behind the washer so I pulled the valve further into the machine after detaching it from the back and then unscrewed the hoses inside the machine.
