On-going issue for years. Have installed the defrost parts to allow the water to run into the evaporator tray below but water was still accumulating inside the fridge.
Just changed the water tanks but did not fix the problem. Tech now suggests that I need a new defroster cover assembly since the metal parts are corroded. I've covered most of the metal parts with silver tape and the water leakage has slowed but still remains. Very frustrating.
The AppliancePartsPros folks are awesome and the video to replace the tank was spot-on. Took less than an hour to replace but again, did not fix the problem - through no fault of yours. Will definitely shop here again for parts and installation help.
