The small seal in the top half of the sump was worn out. To get this seal you have to purchase the entire sump. There is a step by step video in appliancepartspros.com. I followed the instructions and the repair went well. It was fairly simple. I did have the older style hose clamps, so I had to cut the clamp off and replace with a worm screw style clamp.
