APP had the motor in stock and as usual, the part was delivered quickly. I had to watch a video on the repair to understand how to replace the motor. The actual task of replacing the motor is simple but there are multiple steps. I only needed two socket heads, a Philips head screwdriver and channel lock pliers. The only problem I encountered was with the sump pump. When I replaced it on the new motor assembly, I didn't quite lock it in properly. The puddle of water under the dishwasher after running it revealed my mistake. I had to pull out the dishwasher again to make the proper adjustment, but that problem was easily fixed. Just be careful to twist the sump motor back on properly and you won't have that problem.
