I googled the problem related to my model refrigerator. The one search came back with a number of solutions ranked by % of time solved the problem. I bought the part based on the highest % and also was the lowest cost solution.
I installed the base plate that holds both the water dispenser and ice cube actuators. I noticed the old base plate (behind the face plate of refrigerator with button selector) had broken parts holding the water dispenser. I felt good to see that because had doubts this was the solution.
Bottom line - My water dispenser is working now. Only 4 screws.
