Googled the problem and found the the Appliance Parts site. Sent them an email and they suggested the cause was a broken bracket that held in the microswitch for the water dispenser . I called their hotline for repair help to find out how to take off the panel to replace the bracket. The person worked with me on the issue for about 15 minutes. I even took pictures and sent them to her. Turns out I had a custom panels on my refrigerator that did not match their videos but the procedure for removing the panel was similar to their videos. I was able to remove the panel and sure enough the bracket holding the microswitch was broke. Ordered the part and received it in 4 days. Followed the video instructions from the Appliance Part site and it took about 15 min to make the repair. Dispenser is working fine. Probably saved $150+ dollars doing the repair myself.
