Replaced long drain hose. The hardest part of the job was finding tiny worn slit in the hose even with the back and lower front off the machine. The leak did not make the hose wet. Water ran down the edge of right rear sheet metal and right under the machine with no water showing inside. As the offending original part was installed correctly and still like new and I am the original owner and the rub through was caused by contact with a sharp edge this incident was caused by some inattentive engineering at the design level.
The new part was a perfect replacement and arrived quickly. Troubleshooting and disassembly took an hour. Hose replacement took 5 minutes.
