I ordered both the lower door seal and the front door gasket for my Bosch dishwasher after it started leaking badly during wash cycles. The lower door seal arrived first, and since installing it required the most amount of work (the gasket replacement doesn't require pulling the unit from the cabinet), I replaced it without waiting for the gasket. And it worked! No more leaks. I'll still install the new gasket, since the current one is old. The instructional video was great and explained almost everything I needed to do. The one big difference I had was it was not nearly as easy to slide the unit out from the cabinet. There are rubber flaps on the side of the unit and my cabinets extend slightly into the space, so those flaps basically got stuck behind the cabinet wall, making it impossible to simply slide it out. I solved this by using some wooden shims to keep the rubber folded forward a little on each side. I'd scoot the unit forward a little and then run a small flathead screwdriver between the cabinet and the rubber to pull more of it forward, adjust the shims and then scoot again, eventually getting all the rubber in front of the cabinet and allowing me to complete the repair. This whole process added a good chunk of time to the repair, while the rest of it went smoothly and quickly.
