I noticed water leaking onto the floor in front of the washer. I took the lower front panel off and ran the washer. I could not see any water leaking. I got on the internet and the problem was usually the door boot leaking. I replaced that and the detergent dispenser hose. Now it was leaking worse that ever. I re-seated the door boot. There was still a leak. I took off the top of the washer and ran it. Now I could see water running down the discharge hose inside the washer. I ordered a new hose and replaced it. When I looked at the old hose I could see about 5 pin holes in the hose where the water had been leaking out. The washer was 15 years old and the hose was the original one. The hose was not touching anything that could have caused the holes. The replacement hose was an exact match. No more leaks.
With all my research on the internet I never saw anyone with this problem. I am grateful for all the videos on appliance repairs here.
