I pulled the dishwasher out about a foot, so I could get access to the valve from the front and left side of the dishwasher. Doing this from the front only is possible but you're laying on the floor the whole time. Adding a few minutes to unscrew the dishwasher from the cabinets is well worth the gain in convenience. Needed an adjustable wrench, torx driver, bent needle nose pliers for the tubing clamp and teflon pipe sealant tape. Took about 10 to 15 minutes including testing for leaks.
