There was water leaking from the left side of the dishwasher. I assumed that the problem might be the door seal gasket as the obvious cause since the unit is about 20 years old. As I inspected it more I noticed what appeared to be something else that was a dark color in the corner of the lower left and right side of the dooor opening which were removable. Not knowing what these parts were I fooled them up on the online parts catalog. Tthen I called customer support to inquire about them and found out they were called baffles. After speaking to the rep he suggested that these may be the cause of the leak and I then ordered both the left and right side one. It was very helpful to be able to see the parts online and be able to speak from a knowledge point with the representative. I think this did speed up the order process and the agent seemed very knowledgeable as well. ( I wasn't confident that the baffles were the problem to be truthful)
I decided to use the 2 day shipping option and The parts came in a couple days later and after I installed the baffles only the leak stopped. I then decided to installed the door gasket as well for extra security.
I was able to handle the entire repair without calling in an outside service and the fix took about 10 minutes including removals and install.
