I opened the cabinet and saw that there was a hole in a hose. Water was spurting out of it when the washer was filling. It was the hose that goes from the hot and cold to the funnel that fills the drum. I removed the hose clamps and removed the hose. I saw that mice had nibbled a big hole in it. I ordered the part and when it came in I replaced it. I did need to watch a video on YouTube about how to remove and replace the cabinet of the watcher as I have never opened one up before.
