Tested thermistor- found it bad. Ordered part, had it in hand in 24 hours. Replaced it, but still no heat. Checked coil and found it had a break. Ordered part, again had it in 24 hours. Installed new coil and dryer is working again. Lesson learned- it is possible the thermistor can be bad along with a bad coil. Thankfully appliancepartpros ships so quickly I was only down a couple days, even with the shotgun troubleshooting.
