With the absolutely incredible assistance of appliance parts pro, I troubleshooted the ice maker and found that the emitter control boards were faulty. Ordered new ones; they arrived within two days; they installed in about 15 minutes; and shortly thereafter I heard the delightful rumble of ice cubes falling into the tray!
