I had purchased a capacitor from a local appliance parts store which didn’t fix the problem so after more YouTube videos I found that similar repairs required replacement of the starter. I didn’t want to purchase a cheaper part so, I decided to purchase appliance parts pros OEM part. It less than 30 minutes from pulling refrigerator out to pushing it back to make the repair, its running like new.
I had only one slight problem this unit was smaller than the original part which require the bending of the locking clip to secure the new part like the old part.
