Being the typical "Joe homeowner", I had never repaired a fridge before, however, after doing a little internet research I was fairly confident that I could make the repairs myself. Symptoms indicated motherboard and potentially, overload and capacitor. I started by ordering and replacing the motherboard, which did not initially fix the issue, so I then ordered the P.T.C + OLP assembly and swapped out. That did the trick and the unit has been on-line and functioning perfectly ever since. The repair couldn't have been easier. Literally, unplugging and replugging a few fool proof connectors. Worst part of the job was cleaning crud and dust bunnies from under and behind the unit. I'm sure I saved myself several hundred dollars in labor and parts charges and achieved personal satisfaction from a sucessful DIY job. Now, on to the garbage disposer!
