The Door Asm is an OEM replacement part for GE built-in microwaves. It encloses the cooking cavity through a pane of protective glass allowing for visibility of food inside.  

Causes of a bad door assembly can include normal wear and tear over time exposing components to repeated temperature changes during cooking. Impact damage may also crack or distort parts.

Symptoms of a bad door include:

• Dim or unlit LED lighting that no longer illuminates the microwave cavity
