This replacement door gasket seals the perimeter of a side-by-side refrigerator door to keep cold air in and humidity out. Replacing a worn gasket restores a proper seal to help maintain stable temperatures and reduce frost and condensation.
- Creates an airtight seal between the door and cabinet to maintain set temperatures
- Helps prevent frost/ice buildup and sweating around the door opening
- Can resolve doors that won't fully seal or show visible gaps
- Replaces gaskets that are torn, cracked, shrunken, or warped
What's included: 1 door gasket and label. Install notes:
- Unplug the refrigerator; let the new gasket warm to room temperature. Soak in warm water if needed to relax folds.
- Remove the old gasket. Starting at the corners, press the new gasket fully into the door channel all the way around.
- Use low heat (hair dryer) sparingly to smooth waves and improve the seal—do not overheat.
- Adjust door alignment if necessary.

Verified the dampers actuated and evaporator fan wasn't blocked. Replaced both door gaskets per tech manual guidance. The Freezer one came yesterday...still waiting on the fresh food one. Freezer one went on fine -- just a little challenge aligning the bottom, but got it after only a small bit of frustration. It has already helped fix the situation it seems. But I will go ahead and replace the fresh food one when it gets here, as it's kinda nasty anyway.
Be sure to soak the gasket in hot...
