Chris N Agua Dulce , CA June 14, 2019 Appliance: General Electric Refrigerator PTS22SHSARSS Noisy fan in freezer compartment when on high speed Problem was grommet which is no longer blue and has be redesigned, It is now grey in color and looks more robust. I opted to replace the fan motor, blade and both grommets, but it was pretty apparent the front blue grommet was the problem. Matt S Agawam , MA January 06, 2019 Bad evaporator motor. Changed out the evaporator motor and two grommets after watching some videos here. Had to troubleshoot the problem to make sure it wasn’t a main board error. But it was simple after watching a video as well. I work in finance/investments and it only took me about 30-40 minutes to change everything out and the fridge is back and running like new again. Read More...
