This fuel cap assembly fits on the lawn tractor fuel tank to keep the fuel inside and debris outside. The part is red and has a gas pump embossed on it for added identification. The top of the cap also features vent slots to allow hot air to escape and prevent heat expansion. It features a gasket under the cap to keep gas from sloshing out during operation. The fuel cap assembly is made of heavy-duty plastic that can fade and crack due to the elements. Removal and replacement are as simple as taking the old cap off and putting the new cap on.
