John K San Diego , CA June 18, 2016 Lr refrigerator with double doors and lower freezer has premature gasket failure Had a local company in to estimate repair of gas range oven door glass that had fallen out. At this time had him provide me with an estimate for replacing the freezer door gasket because on several occasions recently the freezer door has frozen closed.His estimate was $110.00 for the part and $140.00 for the labor. He would need to order the gasket and needed 3-4 days to get it. I watched your video ordered the part for under $50.00 total . I received it within 2 days and installed it in under 5 minutes . Needless to say cancelled the repair. In the future the first place I will turn to is AppliancePartsPros.com . PS. the technician also did not get the oven door repair . I did it myself. Thank you . John P Bear Creek Twp , PA September 30, 2017 Appliance: Model LG LBC22520SW/03 When the fridge door was closed the freezer door would pop open which led to ice buildup in the freezer causing the ice machine to break. I replaced the freezer gasket and in doing so found the inside of the freezer door rubbing against the inside freezer wall when the door was just about closed . I adjusted the door so it wouldn't rub anymore and then replaced the ice machine. The freezer door still pops open a little bit when I shut the fridge door, I guess from the air pressure, but because the door is not rubbing anymore it seals right back up again.
