How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP5629742 / ADX73350925 Refrigerator Freezer Door Gasket

I replaced the freezer gasket and in doing so found the inside of the freezer door rubbing against the inside freezer wall when the door was just about closed . I adjusted the door so it wouldn't rub anymore and then replaced the ice machine. The freezer door still pops open a little bit when I shut the fridge door, I guess from the air pressure, but because the door is not rubbing anymore it seals right back up again. 

Replaced both refrigerator and freezer gaskets 

I sent away for the part and followed a YouTube video on how to install the new gasket. It was very easy to install and the part fit perfectly. 

My husband thought the door was out of adjustment. There was too much stuff in the freezer. The freezer was not defrosting. Therefore there was ice buildup. Got that problem resolved. Installed the new gasket with ease. The repair was easy, but figuring out the problem was time-consuming. 

Replacing the gasket on the freezer door was very simple, and took just a few minutes to complete. 

We ordered the freezer gasket from AppliancePartsPros and it came in the mail and my husband put it on in about 5 minutes or less. Very easy. 

I found a youtube that showed me how and you guys rated this job a 1 (easy!) on your DIY meter. 

Ordered a new seal and I was shipped the wrong gasket. I called and reported the problem. Customer service was courteous and helpful. I was shipped the correct gasket at no cost to me. I would use the company again. 

Purchased new gasket. Removed freezer drawer, removed old gasket and installed new one. Very easy.
