Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Turntable not spinning   Thomas G. • Ottawa , IL • March 19, 2014

Start bye removing the three screws that hold the underside of the microwave up. Once those are undone, the panel pivots down. You then need to un-attach the lights so the panel will totally come off and out of the way. The motor is plainly visible. Remove the power plug and remove the one screw then it twists out of its slot. Install the new motor and reverse the directions. Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You The fan in the lower draw was not working   Michael K. • Trinity , FL • February 16, 2025

I replaced the fan and heater element. The replacement was not an exact match. I had to adjust the parts to get the harness to fit the plug was not the correct size. I cut it off and used the existing plug. Not a big deal and everything else fit. Pretty good for a twenty year old replacement. Also the heater element was a different shape but it fit as is. Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Freezer temperature felt cold but temperature would not drop below 50 degrees   Justus S. • Poulsbo , WA • February 08, 2015

This repair was likely compounded by a second failed component after several unplug attempts. The first failure occurred after the freezer door had been left ajar. The freezer temp wouldn't drop but inside it still felt cold. I did several panel resets and the 'unplug for 12 hours' trick, neither changed indications. Checking behind the condenser cover revealed that it was still cold and appeared to be function, but the evap fan did not appear to be working. At some point during one of the... Read more
