Dryer humming but not starting? This drive motor rotates the drum and blower wheel. Moderately difficult repair requires drum removal. Fix it today.
Removed front of dryer panel, removed top, and removed drum. Replaced motor and wheel, because the old wheel was rusted on the motor shaft, and could not be removed, so I had to break it off. Replaced motor, and reassembled. Everything works now. I also replace the switch-Pb, because the start button was getting stuck. Read more

Refrigerator not cooling evenly or freezer has warm spots? A failed evaporator fan motor stops cold air circulation. DIY-friendly repair in 30-45 minutes.
The unit is 15 years old. Instead of just replacing the Adaptive Defrost Control Board , I opted to replace all parts related to include the Heating Element, Defrost Thermostat, and the Evaporator Fan Motor. I feel it was worth the extra money and piece of mind not to worry about what would fail next. In the long run it is was cheaper to replace those parts than replace all the food lost after it failed while we were on vacation! This company is just awesome! Great customer support and the... Easy fix, this was an identical match to the fan that was in the oven. The only thing missing was the foam strip, that easily came off the old fan assembly and stuck to the new one. The hardest thing was finding the part, and with a picture to verify. I have found appliancepros.com has a large list of available parts, easy to find in their inventory of available items, and some of the best prices as well. This is a Whirlpool convection slide in oven, and the Whirlpool site was worthless, did... Read more

I did 2 live chats with 2 agents over 4 days and confirmed the part I needed would work in New Zealand, as I had taken my washing machine and dryer with me. As the price had risen since my first contact and I could prove the price from the first visit, I was given a courtesy cheaper price. The parts arrived in as stated time in the USA (family posted to me in NZ) GREAT KARMA AppliancePro. Read more

The Evaporator Cover is an OEM component for Whirlpool refrigerators. It protects and seals the evaporator coils responsible for absorbing heat and circulating cold air within the fridge. This cover helps regulate temperatures by preventing freezer burn-off and directing airflow across the coils for efficient cooling performance.
Causes of a bad evaporator cover are generally wear and damage incurred through prolonged use. Exposure to temperature fluctuations or moisture can impact material integrity.
Some signs a replacement is needed include:
Note: This includes the fan motor, wire assembly, and thermistor.
Replacing with this Whirlpool OEM cover ensures the proper protection of coils. Compatible also with models from Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, and others.
