Description

An air filter gasket is placed between two components of an air cleaner. It seals the parts together and prevents vacuumed air from leaking. When there is an air leak, the carburetor will work harder to meet the required fuel and air ratio for the engine to run. An air filter replacement part is easy to install. First, take out the air cleaner cover. Using a wrench, remove the two bolts that are holding the inner housing. Replace the worn-down air gasket behind the housing with this OEM air cleaner gasket. Put the bolts back and close the air cover. This 17228-ZM0-000 Air Cleaner Gasket Replacement is a genuine MTD part. It is compatible with most pressure washers, lawnmowers, and engines from Toro, MTD, Honda, and Briggs & Stratton. This part is sold individually.
