Description

This is an authentic OEM replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer for use in various small engines. This oil fill tube assembly is part of the oil delivery system. This tube delivers the oil to the oil tank when it is added to the engine. If this tube cracks or deteriorates over time, the oil will not make it to the oil tank or the engine. This could lead to complete engine failure if the leak is not discovered. Oil on the driveway or lawn or smoke coming from under the engine when the lawnmower is running is a sure sign that the tube may need to be replaced.The oil fill tube assembly also houses the dipstick which is used to check the oil level in the mower. If the assembly is leaking, the reading won't be accurate and the lawnmower may be operated without adequate oil which can damage the engine. A screwdriver is needed to replace the oil fill tube.
