Pressure washers need water from a hose or other source to get the job done. While it is the pump system and nozzle that create the pressure and spray pattern, it is important that the water enters the machinery without contaminants. The use of a garden hose filter is common in almost all pressure washers. Typically made of metal mesh with a rubber gasket inserted into the hose, it stops potentially harmful materials and debris. This replacement garden hose filter is made for use in a variety of pressure washers, including those by Snapper, Husqvarna, Briggs & Stratton, and Troy-Bilt, among others. It is compatible with hundreds of models. This is an OEM replacement part ships individually and will not require any specialty tools to be inserted or replaced. If a garden hose is attached too tightly, a wrench may be necessary for loosening it, but the filter easily slips in or out of the hose clamp.
