The new overload/relay kit corrected the problem. The Panduit/zip-ties supplied in the replacement kit didn't fit where the illustration showed in the directions but smaller zip-ties connected together did fit and held the relay against the compressor just fine and the sealant had good squeeze-out. I simply popped old clip out with my fingernail. Then pulled the connection straight apart,noteing the location of internal parts (diode,bulb ).Reconnect the new part noteing same location as before.Not sure if this step is necessary, but it can't hurt.
