High level of noise with each compressor cycle Bruce H. • Bonita Springs , FL • July 24, 2015
The installation of the new condenser motor was as the video described; there were no surprises. I noted the difference in operation immediately, the fan was moving at a higher rate of speed in a smoother motion. The new motor had far less shaft end play and seems to move more air across the condenser coil than the original motor. All in all, this was a relatively easy repair that solved a real refrigerator performance problem; the unit now cycles less often and generates less compressor heat.

- Unusual noises coming from the back of the refrigerator
- The compressor running continuously
- Increased energy bills due to inefficient operation
- Overheating of the refrigerator

This wire harness connects the ice maker's cutter grid to the appliance's electrical system, supplying power so the heated grid can slice the ice slab into cubes. Replacing a damaged harness helps restore consistent cube separation and production.
- Routes electrical power to the cutter grid/heating wires
- A failed, loose, or heat-damaged harness may prevent the grid from warming
- Common symptoms may include whole sheets or large chunks in the bin, cubes not separating, or intermittent/slow ice production
- Visual signs can include melted/discolored grid connectors or broken/brittle conductors
What's included: 1 grid wire harness assembly Install notes:
- Disconnect power before servicing; allow the cutter grid to cool completely
- Note wiring/connector orientation; transfer one connection at a time to match original routing
- Seat connectors fully and secure the harness in original clips/standoffs away from sharp edges
- After reassembly, restore power and verify the cutter grid warms during a cycle
