The Vent Hose is an OEM part for Whirlpool washing machines. This vent hose allows air to circulate in and out of the washer, preventing pressure build-up and ensuring proper water drainage. It helps maintain the efficiency and effectiveness of the washing machine by facilitating the necessary airflow during the wash and spin cycles.
Common causes of a bad vent hose include wear and tear from regular use, blockages from lint or debris, and damage from mishandling or improper installation.
Symptoms of a bad vent hose include:
- Water not draining properly from the washer
- Unusual noises during the wash or spin cycles
- Leaks or water pooling around the washer
- Visible cracks, splits, or blockages in the hose
This OEM part is also compatible with some Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.

This is a washing machine control board. It is also known as the mainboard or motherboard and manages the timing of the washing machine. This part also makes sure all proper washer functions are carried out when appropriate. The control board controls the drive motor, fill valves, and drain pump. If this part is damaged, button presses may not work. The washing machine may not start or complete certain cycles. If the control board is damaged or non-functioning, it will need to be replaced. However, before starting, make sure the washing machine is disconnected from power. The water supply should also be shut off. Pull the washing machine away from the wall and take off the control knob before removing the back panel. Take out the control board and reconnect the wires to the new component before reassembly. The control board has been created to be compatible with Kenmore washing machines. It's directly sourced from the manufacturer as a genuine OEM replacement part. This component is sold individually.

I was moving my washer and dryer on to a platform when the washer slipped and the drawer came out and broke. I was going to surprise my wife with this new setup. She was out of town and was due back in 3 days. I didn't want her to see my mistake. I got on line and found AppliancePartsPros.com and I am glad I did. Their price was reasonable and fair. I order the parts I needed late on Wednesday and they were delivered early on Saturday. I watched their self help video on how to replace the parts...
