Plug, Terminal (15-Way)
Genuine Whirlpool part
By: Whirlpool
Part Number: 96894

This 15-way terminal plug provides the wire-to-wire connection used on select appliance control assemblies, restoring secure electrical connections and reliable signal/power routing. Fits into the matching terminal block for proper electrical contact. What it does:

  • Re-establishes a 15-position connector between wiring harness and control/terminal block
  • Helps stop intermittent operation caused by loose, damaged, or corroded plug connections
  • Ensures correct routing of power and control signals when mating terminals are secure
  • Used wherever a 15-way plug interface is specified on the appliance wiring harness
What's included:
  • One 15-way terminal plug
Install notes:
  • Disconnect power to the appliance before servicing to avoid shock or injury
  • Handle terminals and wires gently to avoid bending or damaging contacts
  • Confirm plug orientation and full seating into the mating terminal block during installation
  • If mating terminals or wiring are damaged or corroded, replace those components as well
