A replacement thrust bearing that supports the washer transmission shaft to reduce axial wear and help the gearbox rotate more smoothly. Use this bearing to address noisy transmission operation and reduce metal-on-metal wear when the original is worn. What it does:
- Supports axial load on the transmission/gearcase shaft to reduce friction and wear
- Helps prevent grinding, scraping, or other metal-on-metal noises from the gearbox
- Can reduce rough or noisy spin and improve agitation when a worn bearing is the cause
- Helps maintain proper alignment of transmission components for smoother operation
What's included: One thrust bearing Install notes:
- Disconnect power and water supply and drain the washer before beginning any work.
- Replacement requires accessing the agitator/gearcase per the OEM service manual and may involve transmission/gearcase disassembly.
- Inspect nearby seals, fasteners and other bearings while servicing; replace damaged parts to avoid premature failure.
