This electronic control board is intended for use with dryers. This component is an interior part protected by other components of the dryer. The electronic control board is the part that ensures all of the other components are working correctly. It manages the parts and controls the temperature and cycle time of the dryer. The most common sign that the electronic control board has gone bad is a dryer that refuses to start. However, it can also cause the dryer to stop heating, continue a cycle endlessly, or cause start and stop behavior. To replace this part, a screwdriver and nut wrench will be required. Shut off the power before removing the top panel to access the electronic control board. Use the screwdriver to remove it so the new part can be installed. Reconnect the wires in the appropriate locations, reinstall the dryer panel, and restore power before using the appliance.Designed for use with Kenmore and Whirlpool dryers, this part is sold as a single item. It is an authentic replacement part that has been sourced directly from the manufacturer.

F1 error code on whirlpool duet dryer Geoffrey D. • Jarrettsville , MD • August 08, 2016
The dryer was showing an F1 error code. I called AppliancePartsPros and spoke with one of their customer service techs. She diagnosed the problem and said I needed to place the main control board. They sent the part and it took about 30 minutes to install the board. End result - the dryer is back up and working again.

The toe panel had been damaged from a dolly while moving and my wife and i wanted our dryer to remain in good order Don B. • Los Alamitos , CA • May 02, 2016
Being that our model was no longer manufactured I was very happy to find the toe panel readily available from Appliance Parts Pros.
It was shipped to me in just a few days and it was very easy to remove (2 screws) and replace the dryers bottom panel.
The dryer needed to be tilted back and supported to do the job but if your dryer has the raised base it may be easier to remove the toe panel.
A very easy repair and our dryer is good as new without spending a fortune for a service call.
