Researched and found a handle that appeared to be a part that would fit. Part was returnable if it didn't fit. 1. Removed the broken handle and all trim. Dry fit the new handle. a. It was really easy. I found the part number using an online search, ordered the shelf and just inserted the ends into the holes in the freezer walls. Fortunately, I read on a question and answer forum that four end caps were also required. This detail was not listed in the shelf description so knowing this, I was able to order the caps along with the shelf and avoid having to place a second order once I got the shelf and discovered that I needed the end caps.
