The Burner Bowl Large is an OEM component for GE gas cooktops and ranges. It refers to the metal pan that sits beneath one of the large front burners on the appliance.
Over time and with heavy use, exposed burner bowls can develop warping from intense heat. Grease and food residue buildup inside the bowl is also common and causes reduced performance if not cleaned regularly.
Symptoms of a warped or clogged burner bowl include:
- Uneven or abnormal burner flame patterns
- Slow boiling or heating of cookware placed above
- Potential gas smells if warping allows leaks around the bowl
- Residue that cannot be removed with regular cleaning
This burner bowl is also compatible with some Kenmore, Hotpoint, and RCA gas ranges.

Drip pans on gas cooktop were dirty Frank V. • Hampton Bays , NY • March 09, 2016
After trying to clean the drip pans on my GE gas cooktop numerous times I went online and found AppliancePartsPros.com. The parts were very affordable and they had them in stock. They even had a help section that showed me how to install them. In two days they were delivered to my doorstep and it took less than an hour to install. Now my cooktop looks brand new.

This surface burner valve switch mounts on the gas valve stem and signals the spark module when you turn the knob. Replacing a faulty switch restores consistent clicking and reliable ignition on the affected cooktop burner. What it does:
- Mounts to the surface burner gas valve and closes the ignition circuit when the knob is turned to Lite
- Sends power to the spark module to create the clicking needed to ignite the flame
- Symptoms may include: burner won't spark, intermittent ignition, continuous clicking with knobs off, or a burner lights only when another knob is turned
What's included:
Install notes:
- Disconnect electrical power and shut off gas supply; allow the cooktop/range to cool
- Remove the knob and front panel or manifold cover to access the valve area
- Note wire positions, transfer the wires to the new switch, and secure it on the valve stem in the same orientation
- Reassemble, restore power and gas, then test burner ignition

Clicking from ignitor mode would not stop after burner lit Jeffrey Maclachlan V. • Nederland , CO • September 03, 2017
Turned out the little switches on the knob shaft had corroded and were staying on. There was constant continuity showing with an ohm meter. Replacing the switches was very easy (always disconnect power to the unit before servicing). Bought a new ignitor module as a backup as they do go out of production after 10 years or so- another cheap and easy fix if needed in the future.

This small metal clip secures the surface burner spark electrode to its bracket or burner base, holding the tip at the proper gap for reliable ignition. Replace a missing, bent, or corroded clip to help restore consistent sparking.
- Holds the surface burner spark electrode firmly in position near the burner head
- Maintains correct alignment and gap so the igniter can spark to the burner
- Can help with delayed ignition, intermittent sparking, or a burner that won't light
- Typical signs include a loose/wobbly electrode, visible damage, or a missing clip
What's included: 1 mounting clip Install notes:
- Disconnect power and shut off gas before servicing
- Lift the cooktop or remove burner components to access the electrode; note clip orientation
- Transfer the electrode into the new clip and seat the clip securely in its bracket or base
- Avoid stressing the electrode's ceramic insulator; verify the tip is aimed at the burner rim and test ignition

A new electrode and the great schismatics on your website. The only thing that took some time was removing the 2 screws in burner pan. Once removed it was very easy to fix.
