Water was accumulating in the drawer pedestal, it was leaking from the front of the washer so I thought it was the front door seal. I also noticed it would leak even when the washer was not being used so I doubted it was the door seal. I removed the top. I took a screwdriver and removed the plastic piece where the inlet hoses go. I twisted and removed the white pipe which had an arrow indicating how to (lock) it.
Now I can remove the hose clamps that hold this hose in. The old hose has a hole, I don't know why. new hose goes in. tighten clamps. put everything back together.

Ordered new latch from build.com. Installed it in approximately 15 minutes by removing two screws from the sides of the pedestal and two screws from the latch. Replaced the latch and the screws and it works perfect. Easy fix!!!

I ordered the drain pump. The pump arrived very quickly. The pump was the exact match. I installed the pump. Wife ran the washer and the problem was not fixed. Took it back apart and it was the drain upper hose was nasty with various stuff. Cleaned it all out and the problem was fixed. I can’t return the pump which sucks but I guess at least it’s new so don’t have to worry about it going bad. I did get $6 worth of change cleaning the drain out so that helps. Will use APP AGAIN.
