Leaking from heater coil Jason S. • Saint Paul , TX • December 02, 2014
When I identified a leak coming from the Heating Coil, I saw that the Heating Element Nut on both sides were corroded and could not hold the heating element tight any more. I ordered replacement parts and the fix was very easy. As I was running the test afterwards, I discovered that there was a leak coming from under the door. I realized then that the reason the heating element nut corroded was because of a leak in the door. I ordered a new door gasket and door seal (that goes at the bottom...

Water coming out of the vent running down the door onto the floor Wayne O. • Stockholm , NJ • November 25, 2017
We took off the front door cover and found that the vent had failed some time ago- the flap was frozen open, the motor did not work. We removed the three screws and the vent came of- putting the new one back was just that simple except that I had to remove the protective paper from the adhesive covered gasket around the surface of vent.
Testing showed that the flap was now free but did not close during the running cycle. I swapped the leads from the dispenser motor with those on the vent and...

It leaked really bad John L. • Ashdown , AR • December 02, 2016
I put in 4 new parts ad gave it a try. had water under dish washer about the size of a half dollar , I dried it up and washed more dishes and pots. No leak that time, and it has been doing fine since. I'd say water was just what was laying on the water lines and shook off. If you see water the first time don't worry wipe it up and use it some more to see if it leaks. GOOD LUCK!!!
