The Thermostat Clip is an OEM part for Whirlpool dishwashers. It plays an important supporting role by securely fastening the thermostat sensor inside the wash chamber.
Symptoms of a faulty Thermostat Clip can include:
- Fluctuating or inconsistent water temperatures between cycles
- Inability to properly detect temperature for desired heat levels
- Longer cycle times needed for reaching required temperatures
- Strange sounds or condensation around thermostat connection
Causes could arise from typical wear and tear stresses weakening plastic retaining clips. Exposure to harsh detergents may also erode clip material integrity over time.
This OEM replacement part is compatible with KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Kenmore, and select Hotpoint and Roper dishwasher models as well.
