Leaking gasket Thomas W. • Greenfield , MA • May 25, 2014
After noticing that the dishwasher was leaking , I noticed that the hose was split on the knit line. Replaced that with an automotive hose and on further investigation I noticed that a gasket was leaking also. Easy to replace and repair. Also used some dielectric grease. Reassembled and no leakes. Total repair was about $20.00 total.

Broken latch handle Allen H. • Philadelphia , PA • March 25, 2014
Replaced broken part. This was a simple fix. The only complication was that SEARS sent me the WRONG PART THREE TIMES and the first part they sent WAS BROKEN. I found these guys on line, found the part by number, looked at a photograph instead of crappy drawing, and had the part in three days. Should have come here first.

One of the valves in the vertical tube was stuck in the open position; since the valves cannot be replaced, the entire tube needed replacement. The check valve probably needed no replacement, but once I opened the bottom part, I decided to replace it anyway. I used this Youtube video to replace the tube, open and clean the drainage part of the washer:
