Replaced the burners and installed the right lp conversion kit. All problems solved. The electric igniters work like a charm, I have nice flames and all bright blue. No more messy clean ups after cooking.

I thought this would be a simple remove and replace, boy was I wrong. This repair became more complicated then it should have been. The screws holding the skirt were frozen and broke when trying to remove. Had to end up cutting the skirt using a dremel and a cutting blade. Was able to remove one of the screws using a pinning plier. The other one I had to bore it out using a drill bit. Once that was done the rest was a breeze, discarded bad seal, clean the surface, install the new seal and...
